Banana photos

Images are one of the many inputs that Strella uses to evaluate banana stage progression during ripening. Images alone are not a reliable indicator of overall banana stage, however, they are usually accurate for color stage determination after the ripening process.

1. Plain background of any color

2. All fingers must be similar in color (+- 0.50 color stage)

3. Bright and even lighting with minimal shadows

4. Some of the fingers are face up, with stickers facing the camera

1. Color calibration card approved by Strella

2. Apple iPad approved by Strella

3. Some fingers are on their side showing their shoulders
