Managing carryover and multiple ship dates

Edited

The Ripen app allows a single Target Date and a single Stage Goal for each room zone at a given time. However, shipments can be made at any time. This page describes best practices for managing Target Dates and Stage Goals for cycles with shipments over multiple days.

What to do at the beginning of the cycle

Scenario A: The majority of cases are expected to ship on the last shipment day

  • Target Date: Last shipment time

  • Stage Goal: Lowest acceptable color for last shipment time

Scenario B: The majority of cases are expected to ship on the first shipment day

  • Target Date: First shipment time

  • Stage Goal: Lowest acceptable color for first shipment time

Scenario C: The majority shipment day is not known at the beginning of the cycle

  • Target Date: First shipment time

  • Stage Goal: Lowest acceptable color for first shipment time

What to do when approaching the initial Target Date

If there will be carryover from the zone, please record the shipment(s) in the Strella app before updating the Target Date and Stage Goal. After those updates have been made, please follow these guidelines for selecting new values:

  • Target Date: Last shipment time

  • Stage Goal: Lowest acceptable color for last shipment time (please assume 0.25 of stage progression per 24 hours beyond the initial Stage Goal, unless otherwise instructed by the Strella team)
