How to Start a Ripening Cycle

Selecting a Target Date and Stage Goal initiates the cycle.

When to Set a Target Date and Stage Goal

After all these activities have been completed: 

  1. POs are assigned to the appropriate zones in the room.

  2. Receiving QC has been entered for each PO.

  3. One Thermal Tech temp probe is correctly inserted for each zone.

  4. Generator is filled and plugged in.

  5. Door is closed.

  6. Gas is in auto mode with correct auto gas temp. See Gassing with Automation for more details.

  7. Other Strella Room Settings are correctly programmed. These should only have to be set for the first Strella cycle in the room.

How to Set Target Dates and Stage Goals

Select a Target Date and Stage Goal for each room zone. Both are editable at any point in a cycle.

Target Date

1. Tap on the Target Date box and select a target date and time. 

2. Tap Submit to save your selection.

Stage Goal

1. Tap on the stage number and use the slider to adjust the stage goal.

2. Click Submit to save your changes

Contact your Account Manager if you would like to change the default stage goal when loading a new room.
